Crank up parts

I need a gear box to crank up the roof with . The part number is bonair 14-06

You can purchase a generic box that will do the same thing. No need to get a Bonair crank.

I have a 2003 Bonair 800TT and also am looking for a crank assembly/gear box/winch to crank roof up with. I had it in at local RV to have cable repaired and they said the assembly was shot.

Hi Pacman, you mean that your local RV shop did not suggest a replacement part ? Most if not all dealers have a generic replacement part for this. A new crank from another brand of camper can be installed.

When I asked, they said they couldn't put a crank from another brand, ie. flagstaff, as my Bonair cranks from the middle (just in front of wheel) as opposed to say, the front of the unit. It didn't make sense to me.

they said that they couldn't source Bonair parts anymore which I knew, and basically said there was nothing they could do.

There are only 3 RV dealers in St. John's, NL, where I live, and no one wants to take on the work.

could you recommend a dealer i could get in contact with to see about a generic crank?
