Manual for 1989 Bonair travel trailer 3690-FKD
Hi. I recently acquired an old Bonair travel trailer, year 1989, model #3690-FKD, that is permanently parked at a lake and has an addition and roof built around it. It's sweet, but being so old, I've got some questions. Specifically, where was the original audio components wired in (there's speakers in the ceiling, but no stereo or other audio components to be found!) i'd like to remedy this situation! Also, the furnace does not work. There's power, but blower does not come on and not even sure where the pilot light is. The trailer has been modified a bit over time, so a diagram or two of the original floor plan might answer questions about the audio at least. Hoping to trouble shoot the furnace as well.
thanks

Correction...the model # is BA3690-FKD. It's 34 feet (i think) two tip outs. Just found out from previous owners (one of many) that the furnace pilot light has to be manually lit...so that's at least something! Wish I knew more!

Run some new speaker wires trought the cabinets, that's what I had done and install the stereo where you see fit.
Nothing better than adding your persional touch I say !!! lol
Take some pictures and post them here. Always cool to see a surviving bony !!

I'll get right on the picture thing! Still haven't seen an obvious pilot light for the furnace, but it's nice and warm out now, so not urgent. As of this morning, no water coming through the shower head. All taps/faucets work and water lines seem fine, so am at a loss as to why no water in the shower. Something tells me I have many other challenges ahead of me with Bony 89!!

Check the shower head itself, might have an on/off lever used when camping in the wild and using your water tank, helps to save water during showers.
Can't wait to see the pics !!!

Thanks. I've been out of town, but am going up to the trailer tomorrow. I can't recall an on/off lever on the shower head, but will look again. Been trying to post some pics, but haven't had any luck. Can't seem to find a way to make it work

Ok, I think this link will work for viewing the picture of my trailer. These were taken the day of purchase..it's been cleaned up a bit since then!

Eureka! Furnace works...just a loose connection in the thermostat. Fixed it myself no problem.
A big 'duh' on my part for the shower. Sure enough, there's an on/off switch on the shower head!!
Another accomplishment...the hot water line under the trailer at the front beneath the kitchen kept detaching, so off with the duct tape (previous owners fix) and on with a few plumbers clamps and problem solved.
I should point out that, although I'm a bit handy, I'm in no way knowledgeable of campers/RV/trailers of any sort, so am flying kinda blind here, but having fun!

Awesome !!!! Don't worry about learning on the spot....I had to redo a whole roof on my Bonair BA-700 and I have no knowledge of campers prior to that little adventure...LOL !!! It's all logical building, just remember that they are built inside out and you will do just perfect.
